Child-Friendly School Infrastructure & WASH Programme

Assam, Meghalaya, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh & Puducherry Ongoing

This programme creates safe, inclusive, and child-friendly learning environments across North East India, particularly in Assam and Meghalaya, and in Eastern India, especially West Bengal, by strengthening school and Anganwadi infrastructure, improving sanitation facilities and access to clean drinking water, and providing essential learning resources. By addressing critical gaps in the learning environment, the programme enhances children's safety, well-being, and access to quality education. To date, it has supported 194 schools and 165 Anganwadi Centres, directly benefiting nearly 20,000 children.
