Suraksha Education Programme (SEP)

Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal & Assam Ongoing

The Suraksha Education Programme (SEP) is FXBIS's flagship education initiative — currently operating through 20 Suraksha Education Centres across diverse geographies, reaching children living in rural areas, urban villages, slums, red-light districts, and other hard-to-reach communities.

SEP focuses on remedial education and a Minimum Levels of Learning (MLL) approach, helping children strengthen foundational reading, writing, speaking, and numeracy skills. SEP also identifies out-of-school and dropout children, facilitates their enrolment, and supports their successful mainstreaming into formal schools.

By creating safe and nurturing learning spaces, SEP empowers children from marginalised backgrounds to stay in school, realise their potential, and build pathways toward a brighter future.
